Iverson Looking Forward To Fitting In With Nugget
In THE PHILADELPHIA DAILY NEWS, Phil Jasner writes “this was the third statement from Allen Iverson since Dec. 8. It was the briefest of the three and the most succinct. He was saying goodbye. ‘I'm very happy about the trade. Denver's style of play fits my strengths. I'm looking forward to playing with Carmelo [Anthony], the rest of the Denver Nuggets, and for [coach] George Karl, who is a proven winner,’ said Iverson. Iverson had spent the Sixers' last six games on the inactive list after asking to be traded.”
